Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Ponce.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
