Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Perales, Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP DANIEL PERALES JR. (April 8, 1978 – February 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 17/18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

This was an accidental drug overdose.
