(L.A.) Daniel Grossman, 51, Died on the 605 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on the 605 Freeway in Baldwin Park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Grossman of Pasadena.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Positional Asphyxia

Other Significant Condition: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday afternoon.

The decedent was driving a Toyota Tacoma that overturned on the southbound 605 Freeway, south of Ramona Boulevard.

It happened to be a very rainy day before Christmas.
