Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dana Horton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Embolism

Cause of Death B: Sepsis

Cause of Death C: Intravenous Drug Abuse

Other Significant Condition: Obesity and Hip Ulcer

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 18.
