RIP DAIJON GRAY (September 16, 1999 – December 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:28 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This appears to be the last in-custody death for the year 2023.

The decedent was found lifeless inside his cell at MCJ, located at 441 Bauchet Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

L.A. County Sheriff’s Deparment saw at least 45 in-custody deaths in 2023.
