Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Crystal Lewallen.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Methadone Maintenance Therapy, Stage 3 Kidney Failure, Hyperthyroidism, and Hashimoto’s Disease

RIP CRYSTAL LEWALLEN (June 26, 1979 – August 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:17 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 10.
