The coroner’s office has identified the man as Craig Polk of Northridge, California.

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and Chronic Ethanol Abuse

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:48 a.m.

The decedent was found expired inside Room #232 of an “Extended Stay America” at 19325 Londelius Street in Northridge 91324. It appears he had been living there.
