(L.A.) Craig Hilbun, 63, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Craig Hilbun.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Soullier.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History Includes Idiopathic Liver Cirrhosis, Chronic Kidney Disease, Tobacco Use, Depression, Substance Abuse, Hyperlipidemia, and Prediabetes

RIP CRAIG D HILBUN (February 15, 1961 – January 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:23 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
