The coroner’s office has identified the man as Clemente Gutierrez Morales.

Cause of Death: Complciations of Morbid Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
