(L.A.) Clarence Johnson, 42, Died on the Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black male that occurred on the freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Clarence Johnson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Saturday morning.

The decedent was driving a motorcycle that crashed on the connector road from the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in the City of Industry at around 2:20 a.m.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Clarence Johnson” in public records.
