Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Walton.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Dilated Cardiomyopathy

RIP CHRISTOPHER WALTON (June 25, 1998 – January 19, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:44 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
