(L.A.) Christopher Peña Zamora, 20, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Christopher Pena Zamora.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP CHRISTOPHER PEÑA ZAMORA (December 10, 2002 – January 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:17 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
