(L.A.) Christopher Castellanos, 30, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Castellanos.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Conditions: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries, Effects of Alcohol

RIP CHRISTOPHER CASTELLANOS (October 22, 1993 – January 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:34 p.m.

The decedent was in an SUV that was speeding and crashed off the side of a street in Long Beach and plunged into the Los Cerritos Channel.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 16.
