(L.A.) Cheryl Billy, 62, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old female that occurred in a hospital in Mission Hills.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Cheryl Billy.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Trauma
RIP CHERYL BILLY (September 16, 1960 – June 18, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:29 p.m.
The government investigator had initially listed the decedent’s ethnicity as Hispanic. This was later changed to Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. As noted in the comments below, she was actually Native American.
* In 2024, the City Controller of L.A. characterized the decedent as homeless / unhoused. She passed away at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, whose address is 15031 Rinaldi Street, Mission Hills, CA 91345.
Hello – This is my mom and she will be greatly missed. She was laid to rest on Friday, July 14th in Bloomfield, New Mexico. She was from the Navajo Nations and is now resting with her sister and her grandparents that went before her.
