The coroner’s office identified the man as Charles Wright.

Cause of Death: Effects of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease and Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:20 p.m.

The decedent was an Inglewood teacher convicted of killing a prostitute and sexually assaulting another. He was awaiting sentencing.
