(L.A.) Charles Blaine, 61, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charles Blaine.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Temazepam, Cyclobenzaprine and Ethanol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:24 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.
Temazepam (sold under the brand names Restoril among others) is a medication of the benzodiazepine class which is generally used to treat severe or debilitating insomnia.
Cyclobenzaprine, sold under the brand name Flexeril among others, is a muscle relaxer used for muscle spasms from musculoskeletal conditions of sudden onset.
