(L.A.) Cecilio Serrato, 30, Died From Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cecilio Serrato.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Alprazolam Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
