(L.A.) Carlos Visaya, 37, Died in Downey

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Latino male that occurred in Downey.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Visaya.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Cocaine, and Ethanol Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Covid-19 and Rhinovirus

RIP CARLOS VISAYA (August 26, 1986 – December 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:30 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
