(L.A.) Carlos Villegas, 67, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Latino male who passed away in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Villegas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent was apparently a construction worker who was fatally injured in a collision at Crenshaw Boulevard and 109th Street.

Inglewood PD said the incident happened at around 9:29 a.m.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Carlos Villegas” in public records.
