The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carl Gold.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Cause of Death B: Severe Sepsis

Cause of Death C: Community-Acquired Pneumonia

RIP CARL GOLD (October 17, 1954 – December 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:16 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 29.
