(L.A.) Byron Emerson, 57, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Native American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Byron Emerson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP BYRON EMERSON (June 9, 1967 – March 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s race/ethnicity as Latino.
