(L.A.) Brittany Wooledge, 40, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Brittany Wooledge.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP BRITTANY WOOLEDGE (October 11, 1984 – January 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:10 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
