Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brandon Owens.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP BRANDON OWENS (September 13, 1995 – June 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent was critically injured by a moving vehicle on June 14 while he was sitting inside a parked car, according to the fundraising page below. LAPD said a hit-and-run accident happened at around 2:16 a.m. at the intersection of West Temple Street and North Beaudry Avenue in downtownn L.A.
