Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brandon Nugent.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP BRANDON NUGENT (May 18, 1981 – October 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:34 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
