Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a beach.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Blaine Chaney.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Cardiac Arrhythmia

RIP BLAINE CHANEY (April 30, 1957 – January 5, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:26 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 24.
