(L.A.) Bing Wang, 51, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bing Wang.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:02 p.m.
The decedent was a Chinese national who was fatally injured in the Pico-Robertson District by a car being driven by a DoorDash driver.
The accident occurred in the 6100 block of West Pico Boulevard after the car went over a curb and hit the family members, who had been sightseeing, as they stood on a sidewalk.
Wang died of his injuries and his wife Xiaomei suffered major injuries, including amputation of her left leg. Their son Wenxuan suffered moderate injuries.
