Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Black female that occurred at an underpass.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Beverly Mcclary.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

RIP BEVERLY MCCLARY (September 16, 1968 – February 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
