Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Betsy Hammond.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alcohol and Morphine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
