(L.A.) Benny Molina, 14, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 14-year-old Latino male that occurred in Lancaster.

The coroner’s office has identified the teen as Benny Molina.

Also known as Benny Gutierrez.

Height: 5’10 ” / Weight: 210 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP BENNY MOLINA (October 12, 2009 – May 13, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:50 p.m.

The decedent was an 8th grader covering up a rival gang’s graffiti at El Dorado Park when he was shot.

LASD said the shooting happened at around 8:38 p.m. in the 44500 block of Fifth Street East.
