(L.A.) Benjamin Basua, 49, Died from Overdose

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Benjamin Basua.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine
RIP BENJAMIN BASUA (November 28, 1973 – July 6, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:00 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 14, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental drug overdose.
He has always been a great man, a great father, a great friend, a man with a big heart, he is a warrior.
He has always been so strong, he taught me to be a strong woman. To not have fear of nothing in this world. To take risk, to have fun, he did not fear this life and I will continue to live for him, you will live through me dad I love you.
