Cincinnati Bengals Offensive Analyst Suddenly Dead at 38 πŸ’‰

The sudden death of Adam Zimmer, a member of the Bengals coaching staff, has been confirmed by his sister.

Son of former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, Adam died on Monday night.

The younger Zimmer was found dead at his home after police were called to do a welfare check. There was no evidence of foul play.

A specific cause of death has not been announced.

In September 2021, NFL Chief Medical Officer Allen Sills reported that the league had reached a vaccination rate of nearly 93% among players and above 99% for staff members.

Adam Zimmer was working this season as an offensive analyst for the Cincinnati Bengals, after eight years with the Vikings under his father. When Mike Zimmer was fired in January, the majority of his staff was also dismissed.

Mike Zimmer’s wife and Adam Zimmer’s mother, Vikki Zimmer, died unexpectedly at age 50 in 2009.
