(L.A.) Austin Ervin, 31, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Austin Ervin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Ketamine, and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP AUSTIN ERVIN (March 31, 1992 – September 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
