(L.A.) Austin Corbett, 31, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Austin Corbett.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP AUSTIN CORBETT (September 16, 1993 – December 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:29 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
