(L.A.) Aurelio Figueroa, 49, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Aurelio Figueroa.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP AURELIO FIGUEROA (August 18, 1975 – October 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
