Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 87-year-old Black male that occurred in a recreational vehicle.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Arnell Conway Jr.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:36 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 17, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.
This may be the oldest case we have in the county of a death from cocaine abuse.
