Armenian Genocide Protest March in East Hollywood, Wednesday Morning
Unified Young Armenians are organizing the Armenian Genocide commemoration event for the morning of April 24, Wednesday. This has been an annual event sponsored by UYA for the past 19 years.
The March for Justice will begin at 10:00 am at the Armenian Genocide Martyr’s square at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue, in the East Hollywood section of the city of Los Angeles.
Later in the day, the Armenian Genocide Committee will be holding a protest for justice at the Turkish Consulate starting at 1:00 pm.

California has the country’s largest population of people of Armenian descent, with more than 200,000 living in Los Angeles County.

Among Californians of Armenian descent are the Kardashians, the lawyer Mark Geragos, and former governor George Deukmejian.
