Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Antoinette Hawkins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Complications of Ethanol Use

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:38 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.
