Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Xec-Vallejo.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Emboli

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis

Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity, Avascular Necrosis, Chronic Osteomyelitis

RIP ANTHONY XEC-VALLEJO (October 22, 1997 – February 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 24.

Xec is a distinctly Guatemalan surname.
