(L.A.) Anthony Jones, 53, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Anthony Jones.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP ANTHONY JONES (July 5, 1969 – January 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:41 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Anthony Jones” in public records.
