Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latin American male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anselmo Zarate of Bakersfield, California.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Multiple Blunt Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:25 p.m.

Incident Location: Mount Vernon Avenue and Niles Street, East Bakersfield, 93306

Place of Death: 9499 San Fernando Rd, Sun Valley, CA 91352

Note that the decident suffered his injuries in Bakersfield in December 2021 and held on for more than two months before finally expiring at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley.
