(L.A.) Ann Ghazarians, 54, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old female of “Caucasian” ethnicity that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ann Ghazarians.

Cause of Death: Chronic Alcoholism

The decedent appears to have been a lawyer of Armenian heritage.
Cause of death provided by the deputy medical examiner is technically inadquate. What exactly precipitated the death? Liver failure?
On April 6, 2013. Mark W. Flory filed for divorce against Ann M. Ghazarians in the jurisdiction of L.A. County.
Ann Ghazarians Flory was a partner in the Los Angeles Office of Harrington, Foxx, Dubrow & Canter, LLP. Her practice focused on insurance coverage and bad faith insurance litigation, as well as general commercial and business litigation.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, in 1982 and her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1985. She practiced in California in both the State and Federal Courts since her admission to the California Bar in 1985.
She was the Chief Production Editor of Southwestern University Law Review in 1984 and published an article on “The Impact of Collateral Estoppel on Post Judgment Settlements.” She is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
She was an experienced trial lawyer with dozens of jury and non-jury trials. She was a speaker and lecturer on such subjects as insurance claims handling, Cumis issues and insurance coverage and bad faith matters. She has presented at MCLE training sessions in Los Angeles County.
