Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at his home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Angelo Romero, resident of 817 North Fries Avenue in Wilmington.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Covid-19

Other Significant Conditions: Cirrhosis of the Liver, Hypertension, and Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:54 a.m.

This was ruled an accident because it was likely the meth that precipitated the death. If COVID had actually been the primary cause of death, the manner would have been listed as natural, instead of accident.
