(L.A.) Angelo Gallardo, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Angelo Gallardo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine

RIP ANGELO GALLARDO (January 4, 1959 – May 8, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:23 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
