Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andrew Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Acute Propranolol Toxicity

RIP ANDREW RODRIGUEZ (March 20, 1997 – January 29, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-April, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
