Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andres Felix Benitez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sepsis

Cause of Death B: Urinary Tract Infection

RIP ANDRES FELIX BENITEZ (May 21, 1948 – April 2, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:00 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 9.
