Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andre Lewis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine Intoxication

RIP ANDRE LEWIS (May 27, 1961 – January 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:24 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
