Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 83-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anderson Woodard.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Recent Cocaine Use

RIP ANDERSON WOODARD (November 28, 1941 – February 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:20 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
