(L.A.) Anamaria Martinez, 24, Died on a Train Platform

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old female that occurred on a train platform.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Anamaria Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ANAMARIA MARTINEZ (December 30, 1999 – July 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:31 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
