Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ambrose Elias.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP AMBROSE ELIAS (August 5, 1971 – May 24, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
