Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alondo Preston Jr.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Russell.

Height: 6 feet / Weight: 200 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:42 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent had a very long rap sheet of arrests for firearms, drug possession, domestic violence, etc.

In 2015, he himself was a victim of a drive-by shooting in Canyon County. The suspect in that case was a person he knew.
